M. Beatrice (Bea) Dias (she/her), Ph.D. is a project director at the CMU CREATE Lab. Her work focuses on engaging with different communities of practice to explore the role of technology in society. She is the proud mama of a 9-year-old and is part of a very big Sri Lankan family. Bea embraces joy, believes in our collective wisdom, grapples with critical questions about society, and practices freedom-dreaming.
