Robin Mencher oversees all educational content development and distribution as well as outreach to and professional enrichment opportunities for formal and informal educators on how to utilize public media and how to make media to advance learning.  Prior to KQED, she worked with San Francisco public schools directing teacher leadership and professional development programs.  A former classroom teacher, her work in education emphasizes media and academic literacy and educational equity. She holds an MA in Education from Mills College.
